Constitution of the State of Washington
Article 1, Section 1 says: "All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights." We, as free Washingtonians, stand on this truth and do so with confidence. Please read through this document and print it out if possible. The more educated we are the better chance we have of turning things around in our county and state.

Common-Law
Handbook

“Whenever people are well-informed they can be trusted with their own government... I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves, and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their
discretion
.” - Thomas Jefferson
